Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 8, 2026
Bouquet (“we”, “us”) helps couples and their guests share wedding photos, RSVPs, and event details. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We designed Bouquet to collect as little as possible.
Information we collect
- Account data — when you sign in with Apple, Google, or email, we store your display name and email address to identify you across devices.
- Wedding content — rooms you create or join, photos you upload, RSVP responses, places, and schedule entries.
- Guest data — guests can join anonymously with only a display name; no email or account is required to participate.
- Device tokens — if you enable notifications, we store a push token to deliver RSVP and activity alerts.
- Technical data — basic diagnostics needed to operate and secure the service (for example, abuse-prevention signals).
How we use your information
We use your information solely to provide the service: creating and managing wedding rooms, syncing photos and RSVPs in real time, sending notifications you opt into, and protecting against abuse. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or track you across other apps and websites.
Camera and photo library
The iOS app asks for camera access for two things only: taking photos you choose to share with your wedding room, and scanning invitation QR codes to join a room. QR codes are processed entirely on your device. Photo library access is used solely to let you pick photos to upload. We never scan or upload anything you did not explicitly select.
Storage and processing
Bouquet is built on Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions). Your data is processed and stored on Google Cloud infrastructure in the europe-west1 region. Photos are accessible only to members of the wedding room they were shared in.
Data retention and deletion
When a room owner deletes a wedding room, all associated photos, RSVPs, places, and schedule data are permanently removed from our databases and file storage. You can delete your account directly in the iOS app (Profile → Delete Account), which permanently removes your account, your photos, and your room memberships. You can also request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by contacting us.
Your rights (GDPR / KVKK)
Depending on where you live, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
Children's privacy
Bouquet is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
